Mixer 1 Tournament
🎯 Game Format
- Format: Mixer.
- Players receive temporary partners each round from a generated schedule.
- There are no permanent teams; players are ranked as individuals.
- Teammate pairings rotate before repeating where possible; opponent pairings are not constrained.
- A roster that isn’t a multiple of four rotates byes each round; a bye is not a loss.
- The host starts the schedule whenever the roster has at least 4 players, which closes registration.
🏆 Finals
- Finals format: None.
- No finals stage is generated for a Mixer.
- Rankings are used to track individual performance during mixer play, but they are not used to seed finals.
- The tournament ends after the scheduled mixer rounds are complete.
🏅 Rankings
- Rankings: Default Rankings.
- Ranked by wins, then overall point differential, then total points scored.
- Order of criteria: WINS → POINT DIFFERENTIAL → POINTS FOR.
- If a criterion above can’t be compared for every entry still tied (for example, a required head-to-head game was never played), it is skipped and the next criterion in the sequence is used instead.
- Entries still tied after every criterion above are ordered by the tournament’s own deterministic fallback (roster order).
🧮 Scoring
- Games are played to 11 points, win by 2.
- Each game is limited to 20 minutes.
- Scores are self-reported — enter the final result promptly after each match.
